Veer Lorik Patthar is located 6km from robertsganj, near markundi. It is a mark of love and bravery of Lorik and Manjari, the main characters of local folkfare 'Loriki' and aptly described so in the folksongs, sung by native folksingers.

Every year govardhan puja is celebrated here..

It is said that veer Lorik cut this great stone with his one hit of his sword.

An InTrO

Dear friends,
This is my first blog and my nerves are little in rush at present.I may sound like a novice or neophyte as I have never blogged.
Through this blog I want to share some amusing facts about a alluring and sublime place which is my hometown too i.e Renukoot.
This place of mine resides in the lap of my mother nature 170 km away from the ancient city of Varanasi in sonebhadra district of U.P.
Away from the bustle and embraced in tranquiled environment this place has tremendous tourism potential and can bewitch anyone with its alluring beauty.
